How much you earn (a) for 15 years? and how much in retirement?

Published on Monday, 14 April 2008 by Luke Jarzembowski

I really am impressed with how the average citizen is made by the state and corporations in the proverbial ... bambuko

This system is simply designed so that the soap people's eyes. Why? Just to make money. But let's start from the beginning ...

Recently a friend of a teacher trying to convince me that he now works two jobs and earns 1600, but for 15 years and will continue to work so hard, you will earn approximately 6,000. A seductive vision, do not you?

Knowing something about economics I decided to check whether in 15 years to increase its standard of living ...

Here is a table showing the inflation rate over the past 15 years (you can generate a similar period for any of the portal Money.pl ). As the calculations I do in years, a table with Money.pl confining to only one month of the year (January) and I'll only use wsaźnik Inflation IV:

Signs of indicators (with Money.pl):
Inflation I - the same month of previous year
Inflation II - from the previous month
Inflation III - December the previous year
Inflation IV - the average annual inflation rate (the average inflation and the last 12 months)

The following table should be read from the bottom, which in 1994 bought for 2118.40 the same as for 1600 last year, and the same thing in 1995, has already cost 2802.64, etc ... In 2008, while to live at the primary level, we would have to earn 6,700 zł .

Inflation 1993-2008

It is therefore very likely that this will be a teacher for 15 years to earn more than 6000 zł, but its standard of living will not be drastically different from today.

The optimist, looking at the table above finds that in the years 1993-1996, inflation was very high and it is unlikely that such a phenomenon happens again ... However, taking into account the average inflation rate since 2001 (2.9%), the current 1,600 in 15 years will be equal in value to the amount of approximately 2500th Is the time and teachers' salaries increased by 50%?

In total, since the last strike of teachers been 15 years, and now require 50% increase .. We already know why?

But let's leave for teachers, for behold I found a very interesting article on Forbes.pl . The thing with regard to pension funds, and specifically "beguiled" the people of their profitability and accuracy of this investment.

Well, the fund, and before you invest your money, it takes for you 7% on each donation. Therefore, you (as a contributor), did not lose on this, the fund would have on the remaining 93% earn min. 7.5% (not counting the cost of management - 0.045% per month!). So far, nobody did not say this out loud, because there was a boom in the stock market. But the cat is out of the bag once simply must.

Not only that, all indications are that the payment of contributions will also be charged a commission - up to 4.5%.

So what you pay for pension funds min. 11.5% of its contribution? For their own ignorance!

If you consume all your income, you have no idea about investing on your own, you are afraid of risk, not you pay to count ... and cry!

Contrary to appearances, I have nothing against such a system. Lack of knowledge has always tied up and will involve a cost. It is difficult to require that every citizen was an enterprising, spare for my retirement, etc. It is better to immediately "do a favor for him a favor" and take half the proceeds of which (like live to see) a certain percentage will get a pension.

At Fortunately there are ways to get around this system. Do not think, however, that someone will give you it on a tray. Read several laws, refer to the Regulations ... But most of all devises investment strategy - what ulokowałbyś money that zaoszczędziłbyś the ZUSie to have earned (net) more than the popular pension funds? I bet that 95% of people do not have the faintest idea of this issue.
